2022 Virtual Ag Summit, agriculture's premier, producer-focused business conference.
Thanks to all our customers who registered for and attended the 2022 DTN Virtual Ag Summit on Dec. 12-13. We’re now sharing some of that content with additional readers of DTN and Progressive Farmer. Virtual Ag Summit brought insights on key topics that may help farmers and ranchers make important decisions about 2023. Sessions included:
– Operating through industry change given unpredictable weather, volatile markets and geopolitical shifts.
– Navigating a generational transition in a family farming business.
– Introducing the 2023 class of America’s Best Young Farmers & Ranchers.
– Understanding the challenges ahead as lawmakers seek to craft the next Farm Bill.
– Learning how to benefit from a still developing carbon market.
– Preparing for another growing season marked by high fertilizer prices.
Plus, attendees heard 2023 outlooks from our weather expert John Baranick, our senior grain markets analyst Todd Hultman and our cattle markets analyst ShayLe Stewart.
It all added up to a meaningful discussion of the uncertainty facing farmers and ranchers heading into a new production year. That’s why this year’s Virtual Ag Summit carried the theme “Conquer the Chaos.”
On the right-hand side of this page, you’ll find links to video recordings from each session as well as some of the presentations that were shared.
We thank our Virtual Ag Summit Premier sponsor FS Growmark as well as In Association sponsors Commodity Classic and Sukup. We could not have put on this event without their support.
DTN and the Progressive Farmer will host multiple virtual events in 2023 on an array of topics. We're calling this the 2023 Ag Summit Series. The first virtual event will be in spring ahead of planting season and is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 28. This event will be free to everyone. Stay tuned for registration details.
